Structural Assembler
Responsible for the assembly and construction of structural components and systems used in aircraft part MFG industries. This role involves interpreting blueprints and schematics, using a range of tools and machinery, and ensuring that all components are assembled to precise specifications and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of Structural Components:
- Assemble structural components and systems according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, fit, and fasten components.
- Blueprint and Technical Documentation:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to determine the correct assembly procedures.
- Verify dimensions and alignment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect assembled components and structures for defects or inconsistencies.
- Perform measurements and tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of assembled products.
- Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the assembly process.
- Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate assembly.
- Communicate effectively to address any issues or changes in assembly procedures.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, parts used, and completed work.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Job Description
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- 8 hour shift, In person
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime pay

Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience
- Must have knowledge of drilling, reaming, riveting, sealing and hi-lock installation.
- Possess own tools, ability to use tools and machines to perform tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a structural assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various assembly tasks and lift heavy materials.
Working Conditions
- May require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in potentially noisy or challenging conditions.
- Compliance with all safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
