Jeff Bonner Research & Development Inc. (JBRND) is a San Antonio, TX based VIP/VVIP aircraft component manufacturer & subassembly fabricator.
JBRND Inc. is showcasing their new line of aircraft windows and window shades at NBAA this year. Manual and electronic window shades with ultra quiet motors for a variety of different size aircraft and helicopters will be on display highlighting the newest window for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. A number of windows have been shipped throughout the year and JBRND continues fitting more aircraft and helicopter types.
Debuting for the first time will be the Easy Install Pocket Doors now available in manual and electric pocket doors that come fully assembled and allow for quick and easy installation. These units are rated to carry higher loads than industry standard. JBRND’s base electric pocket door allows 70 lb. of trim to be added to the door including LED lighting features, and custom laminates and paint. All doors carry full certifications; pull tests and DO-160 approvals.
Other JBRND Inc. products on display at this year’s NBAA will include LED cabin lighting compatible with any CMS system or through Wi-Fi using JBRND’s iPhone/Droid app, lightweight showers and bidets, and their sturdy foldout tables.
JBRND is comprised of 6 separate shops housed in their San Antonio head quarters. With their extensive variety of machinery & equipment, they are able to keep the product life-cycle within their facility. JBRND offers machining, sheet metal fabrication, composite fabrication, tooling, mil spec finishes, heat treating and prototype fabrication services.
